Under the patronage the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Gulf States, we are pleased to announce the launch of the first GCC Engineering Symposium “Toward an Interprofessional Collaboration in Engineering Research for Sustainable Prosperity” on October 29-31, 2023, at the Conference Center, Kuwait University. The symposium is held in partnership with Kuwait University and Universities in the GCC.
The main objective of this symposium is to foster dialogue and collaborations across researchers in the engineering disciplines in the GCC to address challenges and pathways for a better future and sustainable prosperity.
The GCC Engineering Symposium will be held in a setting in which all participants can share ideas and solve problems. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear papers and keynote presentations, participate in the panel sessions, engage in professional workshops, and attend social events to provide opportunities for technical interaction and discussion.
The symposium welcomes a diverse range of participants, including:
practicing engineers from various disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and more. Engineers at all levels, from entry-level to experienced professionals.
Scholars, professors, researchers, and students pursuing engineering degrees or conducting research in engineering-related fields can gain valuable insights from the symposium.
Representatives from different industries that collaborate with or rely on engineering expertise, such as construction, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, transportation, and technology.
Representatives from government organizations, ministries, regulatory bodies, and public-sector entities involved in infrastructure development, urban planning, or policy-making related to engineering may find the symposium relevant to their work.
Individuals involved in engineering entrepreneurship, startups, or innovative projects can attend to gain insights into the latest trends, technologies, and opportunities in the field.
Professionals offering engineering consulting services, project management, engineering software, or other related services.
